Bovet, which is famous for pocket watches produced for the Chinese market in the 19th century, was founded by Édouard Bovet in 1822. Focusing on artistic watches, Bovet is known by collectors for its dials (Fleurier Miniature Painting), engravings and long-lasting Tourbillon movements. At the same time, employing female artisans rare for watchmaking companies, Bovet is one of the first brands to offer skeletonized movements to demonstrate unique watch movements.
